Racquetball anyone?

This fun and energetic sport is difficult to say no to! With four racquetball courts in Aspen Hill, in Montgomery County, Maryland and monthly programs and events to choose from, you can learn the fundamentals or play more advanced competition.

Racquetball Pro and Program Coordinator, Will Ferguson, is a 15+ year veteran of the sport. His philosophy is to learn the fundamentals, advance at your own pace, and enjoy yourself along the way. Will is certificated in Ampro II Advanced Teaching, USRA, is E-force sponsored and often holds free clinic and demonstrations for members.

Aspen Hill Club Racquetball Lessons Cost:

$30 per Lesson, $80 for 3 Lessons, $150 for 6 Lessons
All levels and abilities

Sunday Beginner Clinic! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND FOR THREE WEEKS!

You know you've been wanting to try pickleball and see what all the fun is about!
Learn the basics of pickleball including: how to effectively hit the ball, rally, rules, scoring and basic game play. At the end of this clinic, players will have the foundational knowledge and skills to start playing pickleball.
Loaner equipment will be available. (racquets will be sanitized prior to use.)
In order to socially distance, space will be limited.
Minimum of three participants needed in order to host clinic.
Cost: $15 per member
There is a 24-hour cancellation fee. If you cancel your participation less than 24-hours in advance of the clinic you will be charged the cost of the clinic.
Non-members are not eligible to participate at this time.

Pickleball is Back at AHC for OUTSIDE Court Play Only!

· We are excited to announce Pickleball play on our newly resurfaced outdoor hard tennis courts #20 & #21.  Freshly painted Pickleball lines will enable outdoor play to be fun and safe.
· You can reserve your slot for these times below by mailing ahcpickleball@gmail.com.
· NEW FALL DAYS & TIMES:

  • Beginning Tuesday, September 8th, Pickleball meets Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm, and Saturday from 9-11am. 
  • Beginning Tuesday, September 22nd Pickleball meets Tuesday from 4:00-6:00pm, Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm, and Saturday from 9-11am. 
· We will need a minimum of 6 players registered 48 hours prior for a session to be held. If the minimum is not met, the open session will be cancelled.
· Since we only have two courts the maximum number of players for any session is 10.
· In following the Club’s current guidelines for Tennis, please bring your own Pickleball paddles, water bottles and towels. Benches will be available on court. The Club will provide Pickleballs.
· We ask that you use the Club-provided hand sanitizer sheets as you enter the court.
· Masks must be worn at all times on the Club’s grounds.
· Masks are optional while playing.
· Please maintain social distancing as much as possible.
·  If you have a Senior Membership, you are able to participate in the Monday and Wednesday, 5-7pm sessions.

Free Pickleball to ALL Aspen Hill Club Members!

Did you know Pickleball is the fastest growing racket sport? Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton sized court and a slightly modified tennis net, a paddle and plastic ball with holes. Pickleball is great for all levels and abilities, you can play singles or doubles.

During the indoor season, Pickleball meets:

  • Thursday: 2:00-4:00 pm
  • Saturday: 4:30-6:30 pm

Summer Pickleball Times:

  • Thursday: 2:00-4:00 pm—one court only if inclement weather
  • Saturday: 2:30-4:30 pm

Come out and give the fastest growing sport in America a try.  Loaner paddles available.

New players are always welcome and loaner paddles are available!
