Fitness Programs and Classes
for Kids, Tweens and Teens
At The Aspen Hill Club we want ALL our members love spending time with us. That's why we create programs specifically for kids, tweens, teens focusing on fitness and fun. From fitness classes to basketball and tennis, to ensuring they feel comfortable using equipment on their own.
Improve your basketball skills and have fun too! Personal Trainer Craig Mitchell teaches ball handling drills, proper shooting drills, passing and guarding drills for anyone who wants to improve their game.
The school will focus on 30 minutes of drills in dribbling, passing and shooting, then on first step explosion to the basket. The last 20 minutes will focus on the game and discussion and strategies of how to run an offense and the difference between zone and man-to-man. With weekly evaluations on dribbling techniques and shooting drills.
Cost: $35 (Private lessons are available)
Days: Saturday 2:00pm-3:00pm
Ages: 7-13, all skill levels
Kids Fitness Certification
Kids ages 8-13 can earn fitness center privileges by becoming fitness certified. They learn rules and regulations, safe and proper use of the cardiovascular equipment and once certified can use the fitness center on their own. Note: When the 30-minute limit on cardio equipment is in effect kids will be limited to 10-minute workouts.
Certifications are held by appointment only.
We have a kids' hoop available for children ages 8 & under. We ask parents to please refrain from shooting on the hoop with their children and stress that dunking is not allowed.
Junior Tennis Programs
The Aspen Hill Club also offers a year round junior tennis program ideal for kids 4-18.

New Strength 101
Class is in session! The 45 minute body weight workout is perfect for young athletes, future fitness buffs or any fitness beginner. The class will teach proper form for many body weight exercises.
