Fitness Programs and Classes
for Kids, Tweens and Teens
At The Aspen Hill Club we want ALL our members love spending time with us. That's why we create programs specifically for kids, tweens, teens focusing on fitness and fun. From fitness classes to basketball and tennis, to ensuring they feel comfortable using equipment on their own.
Improve your basketball skills and have fun too! Personal Trainer Craig Mitchell teaches ball handling drills, proper shooting drills, passing and guarding drills for anyone who wants to improve their game.
The school will focus on 30 minutes of drills in dribbling, passing and shooting, then on first step explosion to the basket. The last 20 minutes will focus on the game and discussion and strategies of how to run an offense and the difference between zone and man-to-man. With weekly evaluations on dribbling techniques and shooting drills.
Cost: $35 (Private lessons are available)
Days: Saturday 2:00pm-3:00pm
Ages: 7-13, all skill levels
Kids Fitness Certification
Kids ages 8-13 can earn fitness center privileges by becoming fitness certified. They learn rules and regulations, safe and proper use of the cardiovascular equipment and once certified can use the fitness center on their own. Note: When the 30-minute limit on cardio equipment is in effect kids will be limited to 10-minute workouts.
Certifications are held by appointment only.
We have a kids' hoop available for children ages 8 & under. We ask parents to please refrain from shooting on the hoop with their children and stress that dunking is not allowed.
Junior Tennis Programs
The Aspen Hill Club also offers a year round junior tennis program ideal for kids 4-18.
Gabby's Kids Access
Do your children have too much energy being cooped up in the house? In the winter months you may want to take them out to run off their energy just like in the summer....however, it tends to be too cold and dark much too early for those summer adventures!
If this struggle sounds familiar to you, then Gabby’s Kids Access might be exactly what you’re looking for. Much like its predecessor Kids Zone, Access will have the kids running, exercising and burning energy. In 45-minutes we will help foster a love of movement in kids ages 6—12 years. The kids will be on the go playing different P.E. Style games and tackling new obstacle courses, developing better sportsmanship, teamwork, agility and coordination!
Teen Fit Corps
Teen Fit Corps will be taking the place of Strength 101. This class will focus on developing and increasing the students agility, endurance flexibility and core strength using primarily body weighted exercises. If your child is between the ages of 12 and 16 years old, and looking to increase their knowledge and abilities before high school sports this class is ideal for them!
